👇 Everything below is live now and included on every plan – free or paid.

Upsells, Cross-Sells, and Downsells

You can now use CartGenie to display upsell, cross-sell, and downsell offers at more relevant moments in the customer journey! It’s a more flexible way to help shoppers discover complementary products while keeping recommendations focused on what actually fits their cart.

You can set up targeted offers when customers are viewing specific products or you can use data-driven offers like Best Sellers, Same Category, and New Arrival sets!

Meet GenieScan, Your Store Health Checker

GenieScan gives you a faster way to check that your live store is set up as expected. It scans your pages, CMS collections, and required custom attributes so you can spot issues before they become a headache.

If GenieScan finds something that needs attention, it gives you step-by-step instructions for fixing it. Whether you’re preparing for a launch or just want extra confidence in your setup, it’s an easy way to keep your store healthy.

Faster Checkout With Google Address Autocomplete

Google Address Autocomplete is now enabled by default for all CartGenie stores. As a customer starts typing their address at checkout, Google may show matching suggestions to help them complete the form faster and with fewer entry errors—especially on mobile.

Customers can still enter any address they need, even when it doesn’t match a suggestion. The suggestions also inherit your existing checkout field styling, including fonts and backgrounds, so they fit naturally into your design without extra setup.

Tax-inclusive Pricing Relative To Home Country

You can now base VAT-inclusive pricing on your home country's tax rate to help preserve your intended net revenue.

Customers in your base country see the same prices entered in CartGenie, while customers elsewhere see a calculated price with their applicable tax included. It solves a specific problem: you want a round, attractive price in your home market, without giving up revenue on every sale to a lower-tax country.

EU: Withdrawal Request Form

EU consumer-protection rules now require online stores to give eligible customers a simple way to withdraw from an order online.

A new Designer Extension component makes it easier to add a withdrawal-request form to your site.

The pre-built form sends an editable email through CartGenie and includes a unique request ID and customer details, while your team remains responsible for reviewing requests and taking any action.

🪄 Other Recent Improvements

Faster variant editing in the dashboard
We reworked the underlying infrastructure for viewing and creating products and variants, making variants much faster to edit and save. Changes still need to sync with and be confirmed by Webflow, so there can be a brief processing step—but moving from one variant to the next should feel much smoother.

Delete test orders
You can now delete test orders from CartGenie so they no longer clutter up your order list.

Control address validation
Address validation remains enabled by default, but you can now turn it off in Shipping Settings when it isn’t a fit for your workflow—such as when Google does not support the country you sell in.
